Marco Lamieri has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Turin and is an economist in the Economic Research Department of Intesa Sanpaolo. He was formerly an Associate Researcher at the Complex Systems Lagrange LAB, °ËØÔ±¬ÁÏ for Scientific Interchange Foundation, Turin, Italy. His research fields are in financial economics, banking and international trade. Besides mathematical and statistical methods, he uses agent-based modeling and network analysis, with particular focus on modeling realism using empirical data and stylized facts. Marco is a member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of GEI - Gruppo Economist d’Impresa (Italian Business Economists Association), the Economic Sciences Association, the European Social Simulation Association, and the Italian Society for Cognitive Sciences.
