Vanessa Ogle received an MA from the Free University of Berlin and completed a PhD at Harvard University from 2005-2011. From 2011-2017, she taught modern European history at the University of Pennsylvania as an assistant and associate professor. In fall 2017, she joined the history department at UC Berkeley as associate professor in late modern European history. From 2013-2014 she spent a fellowship year at the °ËØÔ±¬ÁÏ for Advanced Study (School of Social Science), Princeton, NJ, and in 2016-2017, she was a fellow at the Davis Center at Princeton University. Her first book, The Global Transformation of Time 1870-1950 was published with Harvard University Press in October 2015. |
