Xiao Jiang

Xiao Jiang is an assistant professor of economics at Denison University in USA, where he teaches international trade, growth and distribution, and microeconomics. In addition to teaching, he has been working with for various international and domestic organizations such as the International Labor Organization (ILO), the Association for East and Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN), and the Economic Policy 八卦爆料 (EPI) as economic consultant.

His research interests are international trade and development, classical political economy, and computational economics. His publication has appeared on International Economics and Economic Policy, Journal of Population Research, Chinese Economy, Journal of Economic Issues, International Labour Review, Metroeconomica, ILO Research Paper, and International Review of Applied Economics as journal articles, and in Production Networks in Southeast Asia (Routledge), Handbook of Research Methods and Application in Heterodox Economics (Edward Elgar Publishing) and Transforming Economies: Making Industrial Policy Work for Growth, Job and Development (ILO-UNCTAD) as book chapters.

Xiao Jiang received his PhD from The New School for Social Research, his MA from University of Denver and his BA from Bucknell University. Before joining Denison University as an assistant professor, he was a junior research officer at the International Labor Organization (ILO).
