Léonce Ndikumana

Léonce Ndikumana is a Professor of Economics, Department of Economics and Director of the African Development Policy Program at the Political Economy Research °ËØÔ±¬ÁÏ, University of Massachusetts at Amherst. His research is on capital flight, domestic investment and financial intermediation, macroeconomic frameworks for growth and employment, and the politics and economics of conflict in Africa. He is a Honorary Professor of Economics at the University of Stellenbosch and a member of the United Nations Committee for Development Policy. He holds a doctorate in economics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and is a graduate of the University of Burundi.
